HB 1883  RELATING TO RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES       EEP, CPC
HD 1     Requires qualified electric utility companies to
HSCR 461 implement  renewables   portfolio   standards,  which
      requires  these  utilities   to   possess  a  minimum
      percentage of renewable energy resources within their
      overall  resource  portfolio.      Provides  for  the
      issuance of  renewable  energy  credits  to renewable
      energy generators.

HB 1884  RELATING TO ENERGY                           EEP, CPC
HD 1     Establishes a net metering pilot project under the
HSCR 332 public utilities commission.

HB 2011  RELATING TO ENERGY CONSERVATION              EEP, CPC
HSCR 412 Specifies  that  Model   Energy  Code  standards  for
      residential  buildings  shall   apply  to  previously
      unoccupied new residential  real  property sold after
      07/01/01.

 
HB 2554  RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION            LAB, CPC
HD 1     Applies the 32-week threshold for triggering
HSCR 415 contribution from  the  Worker's Compensation Special
      Compensation  Fund  to  permanent  partial disability
      cases.  Extends application  of  section 386-33 (a) &
      (b), HRS, to  all  cases  where  injury occurs before
      05/15/82.

HB 2158  RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE               CPC
      Allows PIP benefits for  treatment by durable medical
      equipment treatment by chiropractors.

HB 2823  RELATING TO MOTOR CARRIERS              TRN, EDN, CPC
HD 1     Exempts only the operation of active, federally
HSCR 133 compliant school buses from sections 271-8.5 and 271-
      36, HRS, of the motor carrier law.

HB 2278  RELATING TO SOCIAL WORKERS               HSH/HLT, CPC
HD 1     Removes the sunsetting of the regulation of social
HSCR 37  workers.  Adopts changes  relating to reciprocity and
      endorsement, and examinations.
